- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250, for a quantity of thirty (30) Lightcycler FS DNA Master Hybridization Probe Kits. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements because it is the only kit that has been validated for use with the LRN assays and it is the only kit that can produce actionable results. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
