Description
PR No: 0027220939. This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for an F-100/129 Turbine Frame Fairing Kit. This solicitation will result in a delivery order against Basic Ordering Agreement SPTRA1-09-G-0004 to General Electric, CAGE 07482. This kit consists of 11 component parts all manufactured by General Electric, CAGE 07482. The NSN and quantities are as follows: KIT NSN: 2840-01-547-9056 IAW Drawing 13873 737L923G04 Quantity Requested: 46 Kits Delivery: FOB Origin, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin. Phased Delivery: 5 kits per month beginning 441 days ARO. This is not a small business set aside. This kit has been determined Commercial. The anticipated issue date is on or about August 31, 2010. The anticipated award date is October 31, 2010. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Small Business Subcontracting Plan required. A copy of the letter solicitation will be sent to General Electric on or about August 31, 2010. All documentation pertaining to the Kit and its components will be posted on the FTP site once the solicitation is posted. Instructions will be included in the solicitation on how to process the FTP site.
