Description
Amendment 2 Answers to vendor questions are provided below, no further extension will be granted: 1. Is the lifecycle referenced in the RFI restricted to the actual IAA document itself, or does it include all the other documents and processes that are typically associated with an ERP system (contract writing system, receivables, general ledger, etc.). Answer: The Lifecycle could include associated documents and processes. 2. Would the processes involved in the various business transactions (Buy/Sell, Fiduciary, Non-expenditure transfer) involve actual funds (US dollars) leaving the US Treasury and being sent to a non-governmental supplier as appropriate for each business transaction type? Please confirm our understanding that an "intra-governmental transaction" is one that occurs directly between two federal government entities and does not involve the physical movement of funds (US dollars) outside of the federal government's accounting mechanisms. Answer: To clarify, these are transactions from Federal to Federal (not outside the Federal Government). As such, it is the exchange of information between two Federal agencies and does not involve the physical movement of funds at Treasury. 3. (Name removed) intends to submit a response, but I am respectfully requesting an extension beyond August 13. An additional week would be most appreciated to respond to these two RFIs. Answer: An extension was previously provided through August 18th, 2010 at 2:00 PM ET via amendment 1, no further extension will be granted. 4. (Name removed) would like to respectfully request an extension of response deadline from 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 13th, 2010, to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 18th, 2010. We would request the extension be granted for responses pertaining to Solicitation # RFI-FIT-10-0077, COTS Software Capabilities for Government to Capture and Process Invoices and Solicitation # RFI-FIT-10-0078, Intra-governmental Financial Transactions. Answer: See the answer to question 3.
