- The U.S. Army, Theater Contracting Center, UNIT 23156, APO AE 09049-0741 intends to procure a Firm-Fixed Price the annual lease of 30 meter heads for official mail in the following countries: Kosovo, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. This is a Brand Name or Equal Requirement for Pitney Bowes Meter Heads Model #1M00. The Salient Chractaristics are that the items prposed must be compatible with both Pitney Bowes DM 550i and DM 8001 machines. The Contractor shall perform repair, and management of repair parts and provisions of all utilities, necessary to satisfy the requirements. The contractor shall provide all necessary management, personne l, supervision, tools, vehicles, parts, materials, general and specialized equipment, electronic communication, to perform services on equipment. The intended contract will have a one (1) year period of performance, with two (2) one (1) year options. The acquisition is solicited under full and open competition. A combined synopsis/solicitation is being posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) and Federal Business Opportunities website (FedBizOps), on 20 August 2010.
