- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT/PUBLICE NOTICE ANNOUNCEMENT - The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, has a requirement for Chemical Services for the Food Service Department, located at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325611. The contract performance period will be effective 10/01/10 thru 09/30/11. Contractors' services to include all dispensing equipments and on-site visits by the vendor on a weekly basis to ensure equipment and chemicals are used correctly and in working order. Vendor to provide correctional secure chemical dispensing equipment to the high temp 'flight type' Stero dish machine and to a pot and pan sink in the main kitchen at a minimum. Contractor is to provide a Low Temperature Single Tank Dish Machine at the Camp and in the Officer's Dinning Area. Contractor to provide training to staff and inmate workers as needed on the use of the chemicals and provide material safety data sheets (MSDS) on all chemicals. The following is a list of the chemicals and estimated quantities needed: Liquid Dish Machine Detergent - 20 gal/mo; Low Temp Dish Machine Detergent (Camp/ Officer's Mess) - 25 gal/mo; Quaternary Sanitizer - 10gal/mo; Rinse Aid - for Co-polymer plastics trays and flatware - 15 gal/mo; Liquid Pots and Pans/Manual Warewashing Detergent - 35 gal/mo; Floor Cleaner - for Quarry Tile - 20 gal/mo; Floor Cleaner - for Waxed Floor - 25 gal/mo; Floor Stripper - 4 gal/mo; Floor Wax - 5 gal/mo; Lime and Calcium Remover - 4gal/mo; Destainer (12 - 24 oz bottles) - 1 case/mo. NOTE: Additional chemicals may be added based on needs and approval by the F/S Administrator. The above quantities are estimates only. Actual charges will be done via Government purchase card on a monthly basis. Cost will be based on a per capita monthly cost based on the inmate population of 1190 inmates. This acquisition is Unrestricted and FOB destination.
