- Statement of Work Solicitation Document - FA6656-10-T-0002 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is FA6656-10-T-0002 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Youngstown Air Reserve Station has a requirement to upgrade the audio/visual system in a briefing room that seats approximately 100 people. This is to include the purchase of equipment (brand name or equal) outlined in the attached statement of work (SOW) and installation of said equipment. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set Aside: NAICS Code 443112; $9,000,000.00 (Nine Million Dollars) size standard. If there is any cost for transportation or shipping related to the equipment or installation of the equipment, please include price in quote and list separately from price of the equipment and installation. Payment will be made by contractor submitting an invoice through wide area workflow (WAWF). Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be awarded this procurement. Only written proposals will be accepted. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All submittals must be completed using the attached solicitation document. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) under FAR Parts 12 and 13. Offers are due no later than 3:00PM EST on Wednesday, 15 September 2010 at 910th MSG/CONF, BLDG 504, ATTN: Kenny King, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, 3976 King Graves Road-Unit 31, Vienna, Ohio 44473-5931. All bidders are responsible for monitoring the FBO website at http://www.fbo.gov for any changes to the solicitation package and other pertinent information. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any site visit or proposal preparation costs. There will be a site visit on Wednesday, 1 September 2010 at 10:00AM EST. The site visit will take place at Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna, Ohio. Interested parties will meet at the main gate's visitor center 30 minutes prior for the issuance of visitor passes. Please have a current driver license or picture ID available. Attendance is strongly recommended as pertinent information is normally exchanged during site visits. Minutes of the site visit will not be posted. Interested offerors shall notify Kenny King of intent to attend the site visit no later than Tuesday, 31 August 2010, by 3:00PM EST.
