- Description
- Draft statement of work for the NSF SEI Outreach requirement This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. There is no solicitation available at this time. This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for market research purposes only. The National Science Foundation (NSF) is seeking to identify qualified sources to examine current and potential uses of the NSF's biennial report, Science and Engineering Indicators (SEI) beyond the traditional user communities (e.g., academia, Federal government agencies, science media, public policy think tanks), in particular the industry/business communities, and to provide the NSF with print and web-based options for broadening the readership of the upcoming SEI 2012 and later versions. Please see the attached draft Statement of Work for more information on the requirement. The purpose of this synopsis is to identify potential sources and to determine if a set-aside is appropriate. Interested vendors are invited to submit a capability statement (not to exceed 3 pages) outlining their firm's qualifications and experience with this type of requirement. NSF will review these statements to gauge the ability and availability of qualified firms in the private sector to perform the required work. All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes. NSF reserves the right to independently verify all information submitted. Responses are to be submitted electronically and must be received no later than noon, Eastern Standard Time, on September 2, 2010. Submittals shall be sent to: Quyen Diep (qdiep@nsf.gov) and Mary Rouse (mrouse@nsf.gov). If there are no adequate responses, an award will be made to the Science and Technology Policy Institute, a federally-funded research and development center, on a sole-source basis.
