- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is TOTS10C0124; this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. This procurement is not set-aside for small businesses, and the associated NAICS code and small business size standard are 443120, respectively. The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) has a requirement for CX4-240 Upgrade 1 DAE/15SATA drives and 4 Emulex HBA. The Contractor shall deliver the items and provide the following services: 1) 4G DAE FACTORY OR FIELD INSTALL (Product No. CX4-4PDAE). Quantity 1. 2) 1000GB 7200RPM SATA II UPG FOR 4G DAE (Product No. CX-SA07-010U). Quantity 15. 3) SELECT SINGLE PORT 4GB PCI EXPRESS; FEDERAL GOVT. (Product No. LPE11000-E-G). Quantity 4. 4) INSTALLATION FOR CLARIION CAPACITY UPGRADE QUICKS (Product No. CS-CAPUPG-CX). Quantity 1. The selected offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (including the FAR clauses cited in paragraphs (b)(20) through (26), (24), (34) and (39) of that clause) apply to this acquisition. The selected Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Proposals shall be firm fixed price for the period of performance indicated above. Selection for award shall be based on the lowest price, technically qualified offer. All qualified sources are invited to respond and will be considered for award. Proposals must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 30, 2010. All questions and quotes must be submitted electronically via email to Andre Adams at andre.adams@ots.treas.gov and must show the solicitation number "TOTS10C0124" in the subject line.
