- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit sources and pricing under the authority of FAR 13.500 for a Long Wave Thermal Infrared Camera operating from 8.0 to 14.0 micrometers. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than Friday, 3 September 2010 - 11:00 A.M., CDST. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit quotes for consideration by the Government to Amanda.Andrews@usace.army.mil. Please use solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
