Description: RECOVERY - This notice is for informational purposes only. The USDA, ARS, intends to modify a firm fixed price task order for design phase servcies necessary for the deionized water system to laboratory room 3032 in the amount of $7,042 at NCAUR, Peoria, Illinois. This task order was awarded against an existing indefinite quantity contract for A-E services. The contract was competed in accordance with the Brooks Act and FAR 36.6 A-E services. The selection of Bernatrd Johnson Corporation (BJC) was based upon criteria which included the following: overall technical expertise, specialized technical knowledge, specialized knowledge of the location where the work will be performed, and an integral analysis of cost. These additional construction services are necessary and within scope of the original contract. This opportunity is available only under Task Order No. AG-3K15-D-08-0004. This modification will be awarded to BJC, 1370 Piccard Drive, Suite 200, Rockville, MD 20850.
