Description
Statement of work for Borescope USCGC Polar Sea is soliciting for a Borescope video probe system. The following specifications allow the minimum requirements needed to allow full competition for the various manufactures of Borescope. Vendors that provide quotes in response to these specs should consider these guidelines in order to meet the Coast Guard needs. CLIN 01: Lightweight (8-10lbs) handheld borescope kit; complete with color LED display screen. Carrying case outfitted for safe stowage and transportation. Borescope should be resist to initial exposure to elements such as water or (Dust) field hazards and at a minimum should include: Power Options: Includes a rechargeable 2-4 hour ion or lithium battery to allow mobility in the field as well A/C Power cord to provide a constant power supply. Data Storage requirements: 1 GB Internal Memory as well contains a 2-4 GB of external memory. Camera: Unit should include two sizes at 4.0mm and 6.0mm with two working ft cables option at 6ft and 20ft of industrial shielding/covering. The end should allow flexibility and availability to maneuvering capabilities. Camera should include a temperature gauge that will display on screen. Cable maneuverability: Joystick controls to allow a full range of flexibility with stay in place option for tips. Availability: Lead time from award to acceptance included with response. Delivery: Request shipping reflected in quote as either Destination or Origin with best estimate provided. Payment: Request definitive payment options with discount options reflected in response.
