U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of a Service Contract w/ the following CLINS: Radar Maintenance W911S6-10-T-0048 -0001 Qty = 1 YEAR C-Band Radar Maintenance: This requirement is for 1 year of maintenance support for the C-Band Radar System at Dugway Proving Ground, Dugway, Utah, 84022 PLEASE BID HERE $____________________. (INCLUDES ALL SHIPPING/MATERIAL HANDLING CHARGES FOB DESTINATION FAR 52.247-34). -0002 Qty 1 YEAR X-Band Radar Maintenance: This requirement is for 1 year of maintenance support for the X-Band Radar System at Dugway Proving Ground, Dugway, Utah, 84022. PLEASE BID HERE $____________________. (INCLUDES ALL SHIPPING/MATERIAL HANDLING CHARGES FOB DESTINATION FAR 52.247-34). -0003 Informational CLIN : Personnel Reporting System. Personnel reporting in accordance with the Department of the Army Personnel Reporting System requirements incorporated by full text within the clause section of this document. DO NOT BID ON THIS CLIN. It is informational only and not seperately priced. SCOPE OF WORK Maintenance Summary: Radar System Hardware and Software Customer Support: Under this agreement Dugway Proving Ground is purchasing a customer support contract for the C-Band and X-Band equipment and software applications. Customer support services will be provided by telephone, fax and email. Contractor shall provide all points of contact at time of award or start of period of performance. Support shall be available between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays. The agreement also covers emergency services. Emergency services will be provided 24-hours per day, 7 days per week. A qualified contractor engineer shall be assigned as the after hours Customer Service contact and provide a corresponding telephone number to the government contracting officers representative (COR). On site Maintenance Services: Customer Support to include a minimum of 1 week of on-site preventive/corrective maintenance on each of the sytems below: 1.C-Band Weather Surveillance Doppler Radar Maintenance The contractor is to provide the following services: a)Inspect and evaluate Dugways C-Band weather surveillance Doppler radar. This is a Enterprise Electronics Corporation Product. During the inspection, the technician will evaluate the current state of the radar system, including testing all major components including, but not limited to, transmitter, receiver, antenna, radar control and display software, communications on the Dugway test network, generator, waveguide, and UPS. b)Labor and travel to repair any problems associated with the hardware, software, or network connections for the mobile C-Band Doppler radar. It is expected that the repairs will take place during the inspections and evaluation visit. It is understood that any network connection problems external to the radar are the responsibility of Dugway. c)Provide routine software updates to the radar software and the EDGE visualization and control system. 2.X-Band Weather Surveillance Doppler Radar Maintenance The contractor is to provide the following services: a) Inspect and evaluate Dugways X-Band weather surveillance Doppler radar. This is a notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Enterprise Electronics Corporation (EEC) 128 South Industrial Blvd, Enterprise, AL 36330, 334-337-3478. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c ) (1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, supplies, services and/or equipment are available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies, services and/or equipment will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
