- The Acquisition department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 is seekig a source to provide 100 each of ¾ freeze protect valves, P/N: AF35BDB, Manufacturer: Ogontz corporation or equal as required by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Norfolk, VA. Salient characteristics are as follows: Solid, Liquid Thermal Actuator, Brass or Stainless Steel Body, Stainless Steel Springs, Silicone Plug seal, Factory Calibrated set Point, Size(npt) 3/4", Valve Type AF, Full Open Set Point, 35-240 degree F, Point (inch) A=1/8, B=1/4, C= 3/8, Max Operating (psi) 200, CV 0.5, 0.8, 1.0. Action D, Body material B,S, dimensions A=1-7/8, B=4-1/4, C=1-7/8, net weight (lbs) 2.75. The requested delivery date is 14 October 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332911. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. The solicitation will be available by 9 September 2010. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.
