Description
Sole-Source The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB, FL intends to solicit, evaluate, and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to ADB Airfield Solutions, LLC 977 Gahanna Parkway Columbus, OH 43230-6610, using simplified acquisition procedures (SAP) in accordance with FAR 13.501. The announcement number is F4ATD10181A001. The North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) is 335931. Small business size standard is 500 employees. The authority for Other than Full and Open Competition is 10 USC 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date no later than 30 Sep 10. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001: ALCS SYSTEM Qty: 1 EA Includes the following: Provide an ALCS training system identical to the existing ALCS (configuration of 2007) remote control system in Ballad airbase. The training system will allow: - Demonstration of the full functionality of the ALCS - Simulation of events and operations - Simulation of warning and alarms of the AGL lighting equipment. Furthermore is an RS485 interface foreseen to allow real interfacing with 1 (selectable JBUS controlled CCR. Equipment List: One control cabinet containing: - Industrial Simatic PLC S7-300 with Power Supply CPU with interface for JBUS control RS485 interface for JBUS control Digital I/O Industrial Ethernet interface for HMI remote control - One touch panel with software allowing simulation of virtual AGL equipment - Network patch cables - All necessary protection devices and terminals for onsite connection. - One laptop acting as HMI for ATC or Maintenance operations Services Hardware and software engineering System Configuration One copy of customer documentation CLIN 0002: TRAINING Qty: 1 EA FAT + Training ALCS system. 5 days/ 5 people Including travel and lodging for instructor Transport to hotel and airport are included. CLIN 0003: Freight Qty: 1 EA This announcement constitutes the only notice.
