- PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research for use in formulating an acquisition strategy for Headquarters Marine Corps, Administration and Resource Information-Telephones (ARI-T). The Headquarters Marine Corps ARI-T is an organization of the United States Marine Corps, whose mission is to provide voice telecommunication services to the more than 500 tenants occupying approximately 178,000 sq ft of USMC controlled spaces within the Navy Annex. HQMC ARI-T is seeking a qualified firm that is able to provide 2 or more telephone service technicians with: a) Extensive knowledge and experience working in a Merlin phone system environment, b) Familiarity with the Audix voicemail system, both Lucent and AT&T technologies, c) Experience working with Automatic Data Processing (ADP) telecommunications technology and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) and Secure Telephone Equipment (STE) technologies, d) Have a high level of knowledge about the capabilities, limitations, and interrelationships of widely dispersed Telephone Private Branch Exchanges (PBX), Key Systems and Relay switches, e) Capable of conducting their own inventory of the main frame room and phone closets that service these Marine Corps spaces, f) The ability to communicate verbally and in writing both clearly and intelligibly is vital. Firms with suitable qualifications should submit responses addressing the above core objectives in terms of their capabilities and experience. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed ten (10) pages, including cover letter, discussion and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) Capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance acumen directly related to the objectives stated; (2) Two customer citations describing similar work efforts; (3) Link to the respondent ™s appropriate GSA Schedules if applicable, or other Government-Wide Acquisition Contract vehicles; and (4) Other material relevant to establishing the core competencies of the firm. Please identify Large/Small Business size status. Response is due by Monday, October 4, 2010, 1200 p.m., EST. Please submit e-mail responses to Bradford L. NOTES: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation whatsoever on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation.
