Description
The proposed procurement is for NSN 9330-00-965-0481, Plastic Sheet Width: 48.000 inches nominal Thickness: 1.000 Inches Nominal Length: 300.000 Inches Nominal color: Beige Material: Polyester-Polyurethane Foam special Features: 20 Pores Per Inch Unit of Issue = Roll; one roll contains 25 feet. Requirement is for a quantity of 1520 RO to be delivered to DLA stock locations. Requested delivery is 120 days for base and option quantity, FOB Destination. Proposed procurement contains a 100% option and price breaks up to 3040 RO This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). The approved source is Foamex, Cage 3J310, Part Number Q20FRC. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in this solicitation. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Offerors are encouraged to complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. ORCA is fully implemented. THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE ISSUE DATE OF 10 NOVEMBER 2010 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP.
