- This is a pre- solicitation notice for the procurement of commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation N62742-11-R-6702 will be issued on or after 11 Oct 2010. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20100908. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 423110 and the business size standard is not applicable. This procurement constitutes Items 0001 “ 0003. Required items and Descriptions are as follows: CLIN 0001: Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Utility Vehicle, Qty = 15 CLIN 0002: Delivery charges to Utapao RTNAB, Chonburi, Thailand, Qty = 15 CLIN 0003: Daily storage charges, Qty = 60 days (estimated) The Government shall make a single award to the responsible offeror who is the most advantageous to the Government resulting from the best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on the submitted proposal. The solicitation (Request for Proposal), when it is released it will be available electronically at the following web sites: http://www.neco.navy.mil and/or http://www.fbo.gov/ under solicitation N62742-11-R-6702. The solicitation also will be e “mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed below. Offers must be e -mailed to the POC listed below and must be received no later than 15:30, Thailand Standard Time of closing date. The closing date will be notified in the Solicitation issued.
