- Description
- The US Army Medical Command Southern Region East, has a requirement for a one year contract for Annual Maintenance and Repair Services on a BacT Alert 3D System and a Vitek 2 Compact 30 with computer. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is BioMerieux, Inc.; 100 Rodolphe Street; Durham, North Carolina 1 year (4 quarters) full service plan for a BacT Alert 3D System to cover preventative maintenance, all labor, all travel expenses and all parts for an unlimited number of on-demand service visits and telephone support calls around the clock. Plan must include remote telediagnostics feature for troubleshooting instrumentation with modem access. All product hardware enhancements are included at no additional charge. Period of Performance: 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2011. (Performance Based Work Statement attached) 1 year (4 quarters) full service business hours for a Vitek 2 Compact 30 with PC computer. Plan covers all telephone support, all parts and recommended preventative maintenance. Labor time, travel time and expenses are covered during normal business hours only. Plan must include remote telediagnostics feature for troubleshooting instrumentation with modem access. All product hardware enhancements are included at no additional charge. Business hour coverage is 7:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Labor, travel time, travel rates and travel expenses for after hours, holidays and weekends are not part of this service. Period of Performance: 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2011. (Performance Based Work Statement attached) This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
