Description
RFP No. ST10-1124 CDR Subcontract Document RFP NO. ST10-1124 CDR Price Proposal Form RFP No. ST10-1124 Comprehensive Data Resource (CDR) This RFP is issued by SAIC-Frederick and is ARRA funded. PHONE CALLS REGARDING THIS RFP WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. OFFERORS SHOULD EMAIL THE IDENTIFIED SUBCONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR ONLY. Questions regarding this RFP should be emailed to the Subcontract Administrator by 2:00 p.m. Easter Time on October 6, 2010. Proposals are due to the Subcontract Administrator by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 27, 2010. SAIC-Frederick is pleased to announce a new solicitation available in support of the National Cancer Institute Office of Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research (OBBR) and its cancer Human Biobank (caHUB) initiative. Through an advanced network of tissue acquisition, biorepository operations, pathology review, and bioinformatics capabilities, the caHUB will provide the high-quality, clinically annotated biospecimens that are essential resources to accelerate the development of molecular-based diagnostics and therapeutics for personalized medicine. This funding is made available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act), Pub. L. No. 111-5. The primary function of caHUB operations is to provide biorepository and sample processing services, including biospecimen quality assessment, processing of biospecimens for use by caHUB customers as necessary, and storage and distribution of biospecimens. These functions will primarily be implemented with the caHUB Pilot Comprehensive Biospecimen Resource (CBR), which will be hosted by another Subcontractor. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit responses from entities that have the ability to serve as the Comprehensive Data Resource (CDR) that will provide access to caHUB data and services. The CDR Subcontractor will further define, develop, deploy, and operate the caHUB. In addition, the CDR Subcontractor will implement interfaces to and coordinate biospecimen ordering and management capability with the CBR.
