Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, New Orleans District has a requirement for helicopter services with heavy lifting capabilities for a five (5) year period. ONLY DoD APPROVED AIR CARRIERS WILL BE CONSIDERED. This requirement is being issued as Unrestricted under Request for Quote (RFQ) No. W912P8-10-T-0181 and is being procured as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under FAR Part 13.303. The Government anticipates awarding one or more five (5) year BPAs from this solicitation from which future BPA calls will be placed against. The designated NAICS code is 481211 with a size standard of 1500 employees and the applicable SIC code is 4522. The RFQ and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) electronic posting systems web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the website for any amendments and or updates. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet and registration may take several weeks to process. Offerors must either complete and return FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and CertificationsCommercial Items with their quote; or, as provided in paragraph (b)(2) may complete their annual representations and certifications in ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov. All quotes should include the following minimum information: Company Name, Address, Cage Code and DUNS Number, Taxpayer I.D. Number, Payment Terms and/or Discount Terms, Point of Contact, Phone Number, Fax Number and Email Address. Questions concerning this RFQ may be sent to the contract specialist, Jenifer M. Address information for mailing/emailing proposals can be found in the Instructions to Offerors section provided in the RFQ. The RFQ will be issued on or about 5 October 2010. Quotes will be due as provided in the RFQ and anticipated to be on or about 20 October 2010 at 2:00 pm CST.
