Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to procure A/M27T-6 hydraulic Check and fill units (T6) as a 100% HUBZone Set-aside. Reference SOLICITATION NUMBER N68335-10-R-0245. The A/M27T-6 Hydraulic check and Fill (T6) will be manufactured in accordance with drawing package 1415AS100. The A/M27T-6 (T6) is used both on land and aboard ships by Navy and Marine Corps maintainers to service aircraft and support equipment reservoirs and struts. The T6 has been previously qualified for the intended purpose and has been in service for several years. The two-wheel, hand moved T6 contains both a hand-pump, pneumatically driven pump and necessary hydraulic and pneumatic circuit components to produce the required hydraulic pressure. The Government anticipates the award of a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a minimum quantity of 3 Pilot Production Units (PPUs) to be purchased with the first Delivery Order. After successful completion of contractor pilot production testing, the government plans to issue delivery orders for the production units over four production years for up to a maximum of 300 production units. Award of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is technically acceptable, in full compliance to all other requirements set forth in the solicitation, and the lowest price. Contractors must be CCR registered. The solicitation will be posted on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil Select "Doing Business With Us" and then "Open Solicitations." Look for amendments on the web page. Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will NOT be mailed to the contractors. The solicitation will be posted on the web, on or about 19 October 2010. The Government will not accept electronic proposals. Please contact Gianna Gatto, Contracts POC, at Facsimile (732) 323-2359, Phone (732) 323-1270, or E-mail gianna.gatto@navy.mil for any questions regarding this announcement.
