Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4 has a requirement for the provision of 24/7 remote medical transcription services to the following VA medical centers: Butler VA Medical Center Butler, PA James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd Altoona, PA 16602 Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center Clarksburg, WV The successful contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform medical transcription services in accordance with the performance work statement, quality assurance surveillance plan, and terms and conditions in the request for proposal (RFP) and resulting contract. All work must be performed within the Continental United States (CONUS). The request for proposal will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website www.FBO.gov on or about October 15, 2010. Proposals will be due to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 15, 2010. This requirement will be set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The NAICS code for this requirement is 561410 with a small business size standard of $7 million. Contract award is anticipated in Mid-December 2010 with contract performance beginning in early January 2011. The Government will use a trade-off process to select the offeror who presents the best value to the Government considering technical factors, past performance, and cost. As part of the required technical proposal offerors must demonstrate a firm understanding of the work required and provide a detailed plan that addresses accomplishment of all required tasks including; transitioning from current vendor, plan for assuring 24/7 staff coverage, and quality assurance processes. The successful offeror will be required to demonstrate their compliance with VAAR clause 852.273-75, Security Requirements for Unclassified Information Technology Resources. All offerors are strongly urges to review this clause and associated websites and documents as the requirements will be strictly enforced.
