Description

The Navy intends to award a modification on a sole source basis for procurement of four (4) additional Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Signal Data Processor (SDP-C) Assembly Units from Sechan Electronics, Inc., Lititz, PA under the current N00024-06-C-5112 contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1. These four units are a required component of the four CEC systems procured earlier in FY10 under separate contract, N00024-08-C-5203 with Raytheon Company. The statutory authority for the sole source is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). As implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The necessary delivery date of the units is twelve (12) months after date of award. No other responsible sources can meet this delivery schedule. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Award is planned in Q1 FY11.
