- Description
- The General Services Administration, on behalf of the Department of the Air Force, is requesting proposals for the privatization of the existing electrical utility system located at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. Privatization is defined as the transfer of ownership including responsibility for the operations, maintenance, repair, future upgrades, and future utility system replacements. Concurrent with the sale of the utility system the Government will acquire electrical distribution service. The successful firm will be required to purchase the existing system from the Government and may be required to provide expansions to the systems to meet future needs of the Government. The utility system will be conveyed via a Bill of Sale upon award of the contract. The Contractor proposal will become a part of the contract upon the decision of award.
