- INTERPRETING SERVICE FOR THE OGDEN SERVICE CENTER Synopsis The Internal Revenue Service(IRS) has a requirement for Interpreting Services at the IRS Service Center located at 1160 West 1200 South Street, Ogden, UT 84201. The Ogden Service Center is a 24 hour operation. This document will reflect all detailed information regarding this procurement. This solicitation is a set-aside for Small Business concerns. This requirement is under NAICS 541930 with a size standard $7 million. This procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract with one year base period with 4 one year option periods. This is a combine’s synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation is based the procurement procedures of subpart FAR Part 12.6 and Far 13.5. Background The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement for interpreting service. Services are needed at the Ogden Service Center. Contractor must be certified American Language by the State of Utah. Services required the contractor to perform services at various IRS. Interpreting Services are needed for the following IRS events: Short Term Assignments: Unit Meetings, Town hall Meeting, Evaluation, Counseling of an employee, discussing taxpayer issues and job interviews. Long Term Assignments: CPE Training or special assignments. Contractor must be able to perform services within 24 hours for emergencies.
