- Anticipated Issue Date 15 NOV 2010 - Anticipated Closing Date 10 FEB 2011 - Time 2:00 PM EDT This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. The Naval Surface Warfare Center,Crane Division intends to award a competitive SeaPort-e CPFF Task Order for Mission Integration for Operations and Sustainment of the Sea-Based X Band Radar (SBX-1) and operation, maintenance and sustainment the SBX-1 non-BMDS Electronic Systems. The draft solicitation will be available to all SeaPort-e MAC Holders in Zone 5 and will be posted to the Seaport-E portal and may be accessed at www.seaport.navy.mil. Access to controlled (distribution statement F) technical documentation can be requested via this synopsis. Instructions for requesting access to the technical documentation can be found in Section L of the draft solicitation. Interested offerors are encouraged to review the technical documentation and draft solicitation and post any questions via the SeaPort-e questions and answers feature by 22 October 2010. The draft solicitation will be available to all Zone 5 SeaPort-e MAC holders via the SeaPort-e portal on or about 8 Oct 2010 at the following site www.seaport.navy.mil. Closing date of the draft solicitation will be 22 Oct 2010. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject items.
