- Zion National Park, Watchman Restrooms. This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about October 25, 2010, PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this contract consists of demolition of an existing restrooms, reconstruction of the restrooms. The work is located at Zion National Park, Washington County, Utah. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price contract with a performance period of 180 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. In accordance with FAR Section 36.204, the estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contractors are urged to visit the site for a complete understanding of existing work conditions. An organized site visit is scheduled for November 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. mountain time, at Zion National Park. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (this announcement is not the Solicitation). It is mandatory that all contractors register in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) prior to award. Evaluation Criteria: Selection will be based on price and non-price factors and award will be made to the offeror presenting the Best Value to the Government. The Government will not accept an offer for award on the basis of superior capability without concern for the price of the offer.
