Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST TO LEASE OFFICE AND RELATED SPACE IN DAVENPORT, IOWA REQUIREMENT The General Services Administration is interested in leasing quality office and related space consisting of approximately 12,151 rentable square feet of space, which must yield a minimum of 10,566 BOMA Office Area square feet, for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. Individuals that have previously expressed interest in the project need not resubmit. LEASE TERM Fifteen (15) years; ten (10) years firm. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS First floor, contiguous office space that has a potential for efficient layout as determined by the Government. Space should not be irregularly shaped, so as to interfere with the most efficient layout for the Government. Interior columns must be a minimum of 20' center-to-center, or from a wall, and not more than two feet square. Affordable parking for 48 employees and visitors must be available within two (2) blocks and must be available during normal agency hours of operation (Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Regularly scheduled public transportation must be available within two (2) blocks from the building entrance. Tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The space must be altered to meet the federal government's requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. Space shall not be located near establishments where alcoholic beverages are sold or served, or where there are tenants related to drug treatment or detention facilities, as well as mental health institutions or treatment facilities. LOCATION Within the city limits of Davenport, Iowa. WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REFERENCE PROJECT #0IA2020 1. Building name and address. 2. Legal description. 3. One-eighth inch scale drawings of space offered. 4. Square footage offered. 5. Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 6. Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted. 7. Evidence of authority to represent the owner. This is an inquiry for available space only, not an invitation to bid.
