- The Department of the Navy (DON)intends to host the fourth in a series of industry days for the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN). The purpose of this Industry Day will be to build upon the information previously made available to the public by providing additional details on the NGEN program. NGEN Transport Services Industry Day will be held on October 15, 2010 at the Amphitheater of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center located at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave Northwest, Washington, D.C. Check-in will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Briefings will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. The following information is provided: a. The industry day is open to all contractor, media and government personnel who have registered for the event and received a registration confirmation. All interested parties must register via: ngen_industryday@bah.com. Registration will be open until 8 am EST October 13, 2010 or until the number of registrants reaches 500 people. b. Each contractor or government organization will be limited to 3 registrants on a first come basis. c. If 500 people have not registered by 8 a.m. October 13, 2010, registration for the event will remain open. At that time, registration will be extended to those contractors or government organizations wishing to register additional attendees not to exceed 10 total people per company or government organization. d. Registration will be verified prior to entrance. Due to seating capacity restrictions, each contractor and government organization will be limited to the total number of their confirmed registrations. e. Walk-ins will be allowed to register if seats are available, on a first-come basis starting at 9:45 a.m. on the day of the event. f. The Industry Day will conclude with a short question and answer period. Questions shall be submitted to NGEN Industry Day staff during the event using the question submission tear-out located in the back of the Industry Day program. Only administrative questions will be answered during the event. Responses to technical questions will be posted to the NGEN Reference Library. In preparation for the Industry Day, DON will continue to make information available at the NGEN Reference Library contained at: http://www.public.navy.mil/spawar/PEOE IS/NGEN/Pages/NGENReferenceLibrary.a spx.
