- Description
- The MICC-DOC Fort Rucker intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Ellen C. Rose, d/b/a Rose Tower Service, for lease of space on an existing tower in the Andalusia, Alabama, area to place necessary equipment for remote repeater sites. This will ensure connectivity between Fort Rucker Main Post and remote locations in the area. The intent is to issue a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested contractors must provide information no later than 4:00 p.m. CST on 12 October 2010 via email to daphne.d.foster@us.army.mil. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on Sole Source Acquisition. Incorporated Clauses and Provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45 effective 1 October 2010 and DFARs Change Notice 20100611. North American Industry Classification System Code for this requirement is 532490 and the size standard is $7.0 million.
