- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://ww.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5110, plans to procure on a sole source basis, software and maintenance support from Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc., 54B Middlesex Turnpike, Bedford, MA 01730 for the following items. ICS is the developer of this software which proprietary. CLIN 0001 “ UIM/X Technical Support and Software, Update Maintenance, Platform Sun OS/SPARC, Part #UIMXXETSUNSOS (10 each); CLIN 0002 “ UIM/X Technical Support and Software Update Maintenance, Platform Sun OS/SPARC, Part #UIMXXETSUNSOS (4 each); CLIN 0003 “ Deluxe Super Support (1 each); CLIN 0004 “ Deluxe Net Support (1 each); CLIN 0005 “ UIM/X Technical Support and Software Update Maintenance, Platform Sun OS/SPARC, Part #UIMXXETSUNSOS (6 each); CLIN 0006 “ BX Pro Technical Support and Software Update Maintenance Platform Linux (ia32), Part #BPXXXETLIN02I (7 each); CLIN 0007 “ Builder XCESSORY Tech Support Platform: HP UX #BXXXXETHPCUXP (4 each; CLIN 0008 “ Object Center Floating Technical Support and Software Updates Floating LIC For HP-UX (Replaces Centerline #02-S-ORD-ANN & 02-S-REN-ANN (1 each). The contractor shall provide software and updates as released by CD-ROM or web database access. The period of performance will be 01 October 2010 through 30 September 2011. This support is required for critical developmental programs utilized by various departments to interface with other ICS software on servers, no substitute is acceptable. Method of award shall be Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Questions regarding this notice should be directed to Karen Jenkins, CXS10-S6 at Karen.Jenkins@navy.mil. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 25 October 2010, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 20 October 2010. Quotes may be submitted by EMAIL in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to Karen.Jenkins@navy.mil or faxed to 540-653-0592 referencing the quote # N00178-11-Q-4035 in the subject line.
