- Please note this is NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Illiana Health Care System, IHCS VAMC, Danville, IL, is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (including Veteran-Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, Woman-Owned, and Hub Zone) capable of providing the required services outlined below for the ILLIANA VA Medical Center located in Danville, Illinois. Applicable NAICS code is 541330, size standard $4.5 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than November 1, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. Description of work to be performed includes: Architect/Engineer shall provide design services necessary to furnish: Schematics, Design Development, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Period Services, Site Visits, Cost Estimates, As-Built Documentation, and all other related information for Project 550-11-102, Campus wide facilities structural analysis, at the VA Medical Center in Danville Illinois. The project will encompass a structural survey study for the following buildings: 34,35,37,38,41,49,58,60,64,72,98,101,102,103, and 104. The A/E will perform inspection of existing structural systems in each building listed. This inspection and documentation is intended to inform VA IHCS of any deficiencies with the structural systems in the buildings listed. "Perform a visual inspection of all elements of structure (including but not limited to columns, beams and decking) for any current structural deficiencies as well as any areas that are likely to present problems within the life of the building. "Perform any other means of non-destructive testing necessary to obtain an accurate understanding of the current structural capacities of the garage. "All buildings structural elements are to be defined in narrative and photographed format. "All buildings structural elements to be evaluated for their designed integrity. "All buildings structural elements that are in need of further scope of corrective measures are to be documented through complete design process for the appropriate corrective solution.
