- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Durham, NC has a requirement for 20 each Blackberry Storm 2 and 14 each Air Cards with a national wireless service plan for the period November 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011, with two (2) twelve (12) months options. Please provide an offer that will best suit VA Employees that will require Blackberry and Air Card support while on travel or working remotely from their office. These employees will need access to emails and internet via Air Cards where connectivity is not available (Hotel, Airports, etc). This will be an Open Market Solicitation, however I will consider quote under GSA quotes, which I will be soliciting under GSA eBuy RFQ526871 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the procurement and service of a Wireless Cell Phone Service in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement will be satisfied using commercial acquisition procedures specified in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; firm-fixed-price quotes for the procurement of the following items are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA-246-11-RQ-0021 is being assigned to this procurement for tracking purposes only and this synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517210. This combined synopsis / solicitation will be 0% Set Aside. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) technical capability, (2) pass performance, and (3) price. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. F.O.B. point shall be Destination. The award will be made in accordance to FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of based on best value, record of past performance, technical acceptability and price.
