- Description
- This requirement is a sole source requirement due to the lack of complete data to support the refurbishment of the A/M37T-20 and A/M37T-21 series Engine Test Stands to the latest configuration, certification and on-site commissioning of stands. The Government does not own the rights to complete technical data or level III drawings. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Celtech, Inc (CAGE Code: 65552) under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. There are several older type T20 test stands (T20, T20A and T20B) and T21 test stands (T21 and T21A) that need to be overhauled and refurbished to the latest standard configuration (T20C), commissioned for use and re-certification as required. The T-20C and T-21D type test stands incorporate a computer-based Instrumentation, Data Acquisition and Control (ID&C) System known as the Engine Data Acquisition System (ENDAS).The Contractor shall provide a data package to the local site when each refurbished test stand is delivered to the site. Contractor will be required to travel to commission stands after refurbishment is complete. At the time of delivery, each test stand shall be configured to test the specific engines that are maintained by the accepting base. Refurbishment shall be completed within 120 days of receipt of asset with a maximum output of 2 units per a month. The contract will have a basic and three option periods. It is expect that at the end of this contract, all Engine Test Stands will be the current configurations. The contractor shall provide a one year warranty on all hardware and software NSN: 4920-01-470-6508RN and 4920-01-458-2053 (Output NSNs) P/N: T-20 and T-21 Engine Test Stands Qty: Basic - 10EA, 4EA; Opt I - 8EA, 1EA; Opt 2 - 2EA, 1EA; Opt 3 4EA T20C Only APPL: Intermediate Maintenance Level testing of turbojet and turbofan aircraft engines that exist in the Air Force inventory to evaluate problems so that repairs can be accomplished. Requirements may be USAF and/or Foreign Military Service (FMS) It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 15 Nov 10.
