- Estimated issue date November 5, 2010 and estimated closing/response date December 6, 2010 PR#: FD2030-10-72434 RFP#: SPRTA1-11-R-0050 Nomenclature/Noun: This is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for Liquid Quantity Indicator used on C-130 Aircraft, Part Number JG402A52 (Cage 94580), NSN 6680-01-056-1779RK or 200-037-002A (Cage 26055), NSN 6680-01-135-1644RK. AMC: 1R History: Contract Awarded on September 30, 2003 to Parker Hannifin Corporation (Cage 59211) on Contract F34601-03-C-0521 for 10 each Part Number 200-037-002A. A contract was awarded on January 16, 1998 to Honeywell International Inc with Cage Code 94580 for 4 each on contract F09603-96-G-0011-SA23 Part Number JG402A52. The Estimated Unit Price for this acquisition is $22,860.00. L/I 0001 -The total quantity of this acquisition is 10. In addition to new manufacture assets, the Government will consider New/Unused Government/Commercial Surplus. Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Length 5.0000 (IN), Height 5.0000 (IN), Width 2.0000 (IN), Weight 0.7000 (LB). Item Function: To provide capability of measuring the quantity of fuel. Material: Indicator housing is aluminum and painted black. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. Honeywell Drawing JG402A52 is not available in JEDMICS or MEDALS. Parker-Hannifin drawing 200-037-002A is not available in JEDMICS or MEDALS. Currently, Honeywell International Inc (Cage 94580) and Parker-Hannifin Corporation (Cage 59211) are the only known sources that can satisfy the Government requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed above. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process.
