Description
The U.S. Government is soliciting interest for Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) contracts to provide real property repair and maintenance, environmental work, force protection work, and construction services. There will be one solicitation for two geographical locations within Germany, East and West, and there will be two subsequent awards as a result of this one solicitation for both geographical areas. The geographical location is defined as follows: Germany MATOC West: The geographical area covered by this contract includes all U. S. Government Facilities throughout Germany. Work will be performed primarily in USAG Baumholder; USAG Benelux; USAG Brussels; USAG Kaiserslautern; USAG Mannheim; USAG Shinnen; USAG Wiesbaden and USAB Ramstein with 15% of the contract amount performed outside this geographical location, with a minimal amount for work to be performed outside of Germany. Germany MATOC East: The geographical area covered by this contract includes all U. S. Government Facilities throughout Germany. Work will be performed primarily in USAG Ansbach; USAG Bamberg; USAG Garmisch; USAG Grafenwoehr; and USAG Schwienfurt with 15% of the contract amount performed outside this geographical location, with a minimal amount for work to be performed outside of Germany Use of the MATOC will provide the Government with a construction product delivery method that can accommodate quick and straight-forward projects, as well as some small but complex projects, and can help minimize design effort and related overhead expenditures, as well as handle compressed schedules. This one solicitation will result in two (2) or more MATOC contract awards. per each East and West geographical location. A separate Best Value determination will be made for each of the different contract awards. Task Orders will primarily address general building renovation, road and pavement repair, and general environmental work including, but not limited to, incidental minor construction, excavation, plumbing, demolition, electrical, structural, mechanical, concrete work, and environmental remedial work. Contracts with a base year and two (2) option years are contemplated at an estimated cost range of $16,666,666.66 per year for base and option year capacity with a contract value of $50,000,000.00 for the life of the contract. Responses are desired from firms who can demonstrate recent and relevant experience and past performance in design/construction in Germany, but expressions of interests will be accepted from all interested parties. Solicitation will be issued on or about 16 November 2010. Prime construction firms are required to provide their physical address, along with a telephone number, facsimile number, an English-speaking point of contact and e-mail address. Requests that do not provide complete information will not be considered. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information provided. The solicitation will be issued free of charge by downloading from a designated website. The website address will be provided to all qualified offerors at a later date.
