Description
Additonal Questions and Answers 1. We are trying to put together pricing and call volume for Langley AFB for Smoking Cessation. We know there are 36,000 beneficiaries at Langley. Do you have any idea of how many are enrolled currently or the approximate number of calls the current contractor is receiving for smoking cessation? ANSWER: The number of calls on average is 30 per month. 2. What is the estimated call volume per month? 3. What is the typical call times? Meaning, once a Smoking Cessation Expert is on the phone with the patient, how long will it take on average to take care of the patient ANSWER: #2 The average is 30 per month. #3 Unknown, we currently only get summaries (SOAP notes). 4. After reviewing the RFQ, I need clarification on the size of the population to be served. I just want to make sure I understand the response to the question posted. Eligible lives at Langley: 7774 Number of smokers at Langley: 1,518 Is this correct? I'm thinking it is not based on the $10M size standard. If this program is only for Langley Tri-Care beneficiaries, what vendor are the other Tri-Care beneficiaries using? Would you consider one national vendor for smoking cessation for all Tri-Care? ANSWER: As previously stated, these number represent the Langley Air Force Active Duty As previously stated, these number represent the Langley Air Force Active Duty total population and current number of tobacco users. Langley Tobacco program services all Tri-Care Beneficiaries in this region. Therefore, it is un realistic to provide a total number of smokers. The total number of beneficiaries serviced is 125,000. Most Air Force bases are using the American Lung Association Quit Line. We are unable to respond to the last question, we do not have that authority.
