Description
Questions and Answers have been posted. The solicitation deadline has been extended to Wednesday 27 October 4:00 pm PST to allow interested vendors to read the questions and answers and make any necessary proposal revisions. Questions and Answers: 1. How many load zones are there at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway? 5 total, three blue zone (2 regular one for handicap), two red zone. 2. How many load zones are there at Nellis Air Force Base? There is one large turn around area. One side is for blue zone, the other side for red zone and handicap is in the middle. 3. Is the contractor responsible for bike racks, cones, or ropes at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Nellis AFB? No, any needed equipment shall be provided by the Government and/or Las Vegas Motor Speedway. 4. Is the contractor responsible for providing portable toilets at Las Vegas Motor Speedway? No, if the Government decides that portable toilets are needed, then the government shall provide those portable toilets. 5. Will there be any staff, volunteers, or military personnel to assist the contractor in loading/unloading passengers onto busses at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Nellis AFB? Yes, there will be military and police personnel in place at each location to direct the flow of traffic and direct Open House visitors. 6. Can you confirm that there are no associated costs to the contractor for the use of Las Vegas Motor Speedway? Nellis AFB has a standing relationship with Las Vegas Motor Speedway allowing for the use of their property for military events. There will be no associated costs to the contractor for the use of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. 7. Who will control the flow of traffic in, out, and around Las Vegas Motor Speedway? METRO/Nevada Highway Patrol/Traffic Control Services shall be in place at key points to help control the flow of traffic. The government is responsible for coordinating these services. Once the contract is awarded, the contractor and the 99th Security Forces Squadron will set up a meeting to discuss the traffic plan. This solicitation has been amended (please see attachment titled Solicitation Amendment 0001). All offerors must acknowledge the solicitation amendment by signing and returning the front page of the attached solicitation amendment. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. SOLICITATION #: FA4861-11-R-B004 This solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposals NAICS: 485999. Small Business Size Standard: $7.0 Million. This requirement is solicited as a 100% small business set aside. Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV requires a contract for: Air Show Shuttle Busses and Bus drivers in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. Please review the attached solicitation document for all details relating to this solicitation. This is a firm fixed price type contract. The requirement is solicited and will be evaluated under FAR 13.106-2 Evaluation of quotations or offers. IAW FAR 52.204-7and DFARS 252.207-7004 Alt A, prospective vendors must be registered in the CCR database prior to contract award. Lack of CCR registration shall be a determining factor for contract award. Prospective vendors should visit the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/Start.aspx to register. IAW FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Reps and Certs - An offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (m) of this provision and must submit these paragraphs with their proposal. All quotes shall include the following minimum information: Pricing information, Cage Code, Duns Number, Taxpayer I.D. No., Payment Terms, and/or Discount Terms, Offerors Reps and Certs, Point of Contact, Phone, Fax, and Email. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, via e-mail or fax, which shall be considered. FAX #: 702-652-9570. The anticipated award date will be by 28 October 2010.
