Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), with Agilent Technologies for the Design and development of electronic circuits in support of the power and Energy Measurement services for the following: 1) W1327BP Genesys Core, Synthesis, Circuit, EM license 2) R-35B-001-A Node-locked license SW Trade-in Discount 48.63% 3) R-36B-001-L 12 months upgrades and support node-locked 4) E8900K-020 USB port hardware key SW Trade-in discount 48.63% Based on NIST's recent market research, NIST has only identified the one source that can provide the required request Agilent Technologies, Englewood, CO. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed- price purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; however, companies that believe they can fulfill the requirement may provide a written response to this notice and provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate that capability. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
