- BACKGROUND: The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a responsibility to dispose of forfeited property throughout the United States. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) This announcement is posted as a RFI only, for an upcoming solicitation that will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. This request for information is issued to determine whether there are qualified sources that will be able to meet the requirement. The solicitation will be for the Transportation and Smelting of Precious Metals as a customary business practice in Austin, TX, Metropolitan Area.
