- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Talladega, Alabama, intends to make a single award purchase for six (6) 20 ton heat/air package systems and one (1) 15 ton heat/air package system. The systems shall be R-410A, Natural Gas heat, 11.0 or greater SEER. Units must fit the existing roof curb or supplier must furnish a curb adapter to fit the existing curbs which are Lennox model GCS11-2753-450 and GCS11-1853-300. The North American Industry Classification System is 423730. Additional specs will be listed under the solicitation which will be made available on or about October 29, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible.
