- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure the following: Two 5 Ton Gantry Cranes, built to the size of the specifications along with v-groove wheels, 65ft of track (130 linear feet) and Two U.S. made 5 Ton Electric Chain Hoists, equipped with low profile trolleys and chain buckets. All interested vendors are requested to contact the above Procurement Specialist to receive a complete copy of the specifications and drawings. Respondents requesting the drawings must provide their CAGE and DUNS Numbers for verification of inclusion in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333923, 500 employees size standard. The order shall be firm fixed priced. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for this procurement. This announcement constitutes the only request for quote and a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis number is N00178-11-Q-4047 and is a Request for Quote. When responding please reference synopsis number N00178-11-Q-4047. Interested parties should submit quotes no later than November 17, 2010 to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110.
