Modification 0001 Dated 28 October 2010 Interpretative Services for Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders APPENDIX A COURSE TITLE: Interpretive Services for Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders COURSE CONTROL NUMBER: 070 COURSE LENGTH: 36 hours (4-1/2 days) NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 20 POST-AWARD MEETING: Huntsville, AL (date to be determined) DRY-RUN: Huntsville, AL (date to be determined) SESSION NUMBER, DATES, AND LOCATION: 2011-01 16 May 20 May 2011 St. Louis, Missouri SESSION NUMBER, DATES, AND LOCATION: FY 2012 2012-01 To Be Determined Huntsville, AL The Government may exercise the option years on or before 1 October of each calendar year. After award of each option, the Government may order post-award meetings to discuss in detail the expected services to be delivered in the respective option year. The meetings, if needed, will be conducted in Huntsville. (TRAVEL) Attend a one day post award meeting with the government to discuss in detail the expected services/supplies to be delivered and the due dates. The meeting will be held in Huntsville, AL. Contractor representation shall be limited to two personnel. The Government has the option to delete this meeting. (TRAVEL) Conduct a 1 day dry run in Huntsville, AL. The date for the dry run shall be determined at the post award meeting. All instructors shall be present. The dry run is a condensed version of what will actually be taught in the classroom. Instructors shall demonstrate through teaching and lecture the material they intend to cover in the course. Platform skills and teaching methodology will be observed. The Government has the option to delete this meeting. Education Requirements. The instructor shall have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Interpretation. The instructor shall also be a Certified Interpretive Trainer. Practical Work Experience. The instructor shall have demonstrated work experience during the past 4 years in at least one of the following: a.Interpretive planning b.Interpretive consulting c.Managing an interpretive program at a park, nature center, museum or zoo. For documentation include 1) when and where and 2) type/kind of experience or activities. Contractor shall reproduce and distribute sufficient copies of pretest /posttests, workbooks, and other course materials to the course site. Two copies of the Schedule of Instruction(SOI), Instructor Lesson Plan(ILPs), pretest/posttests w/answers, student course training manuals and paper copies of the power point slides shall be delivered to the government.
