- NOTICE OF INTENT, SOLE SOURCE: The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source purchase order with a total value of $69,182.00 (over the base and option years) to the incumbent contractor, Dow Jones & Company, Inc for the renewal of for in-depth real-time business/financial, economic, and political news feed on topics related to North American and global equities, delivered to interactive trading and market terminals. The aforementioned service is required for official Securities and Exchange Commission's purposes. The period of performance for this award is: one-year base period plus four (4) one-year option periods. Dow Jones & Company, Inc. is the only known source that provides the abovementioned publications required by the SEC. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the provision of identical publications, which maybe considered by the agency. Responses must be received by close of business, within seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice and must be in writing to the address listed within this notice. No late responses will be accepted. Such submissions will be evaluated solely for determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If this determination is made, an award will be issued without further notification.
