Description

This is an announcement directing interested parties to the Department of Interior's Business Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov where details of a US Geological Survey Request For Quotation (RFQ) 11HQQQ0005 may be viewed. This RFQ constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested for labor, material, and equipment for construction for renovations for rooms 2C210 and 2C208 at the USGS in Reston, VA. The posted RFQ contains a description of the construction requirements, Statement of Work, Davis Bacon Wage decision, and applicable clauses. All vendors who can meet this requirement, have a valid Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS) and are registered in CCR are invited to submit electronic quotes via email for this posted RFQ. THE DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IS BETWEEN $25,000.00-$100,000.00. NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220. Quotes are due via email to: jenglehart@usgs.gov no later than 10:00 AM EDT, Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Availability of specifications, plans, drawings, or other technical data. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. These contract documents may be obtained at the site visit on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM EDT. Vendor shall submit completed Document Security "Attachment L" form before drawings will be provided. "Attachment L" can be located in the clauses section of RFQ 11HQQQ0005. If a completed "Attachment L" form is not provided to the Contracting Officer drawings will not be provided to your company. Vendors interested in attending the site visit on 11/09/2010 at 10:00 AM EDT are encouraged to send a confirmation email to jenglehart@usgs.gov with your company's name and number of attendees.
