Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within a 5 mile radius of the intersection of N. Military Trail & Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33409 and accessible to local public transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on January 1, 2011 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on December 31, 2015. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 42: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 42 inmates = 42 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 42 Inmates = 2,016 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 42 Inmates = 3,024 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 20 units (per inmate) x 6 Inmates = 120 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 20 inmates = 20 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 20 Inmates = 20 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 48 units per inmate for 20 inmates = 960 units; Medication Monitoring 12 units per inmate for 20 inmates = 240 Monitorings. Option Year One: Estimated number of inmates 46: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 46 inmates = 46 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 46 Inmates = 2,208 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 46 Inmates = 3,312 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 20 units (per inmate) x 7 Inmates = 140 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 22 inmates = 22 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 22 Inmates = 22 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 48 units per inmate for 22 inmates = 1,056 units; Medication Monitoring 12 units per inmate for 22 inmates = 264 Monitorings. Option Year Four: Estimated number of inmates 61: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 61 inmates = 61 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 61 Inmates = 2,928 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 61 Inmates = 4,392 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 20 units (per inmate) x 10 Inmates = 200 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 28 inmates = 28 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 28 Inmates = 28 Reports; Mental Health Individual Counseling 48 units per inmate for 28 inmates = 1,344 units; Medication Monitoring 12 units per inmate for 28 inmates = 336 Monitorings. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated June 2010. The request for quotation will be available on or after November 23, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. The estimated closing date is on or about December 8, 2010. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
