Description
Attach (01) Work Item Description Solicitation It is the intent of the Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC) Ship Support Unit (SSU) San Diego to make sole source procurement from In-Tech Marine Services for field services for shipboard Navigation Light Panel and CHT Controllers. The company has proprietary rights to replacement parts and services being procured. Equipment requiring servicing includes Navigation Lighting Panel, CHT and Aspirator Controller, Winch Controllers, Supply and Exhaust Controllers. The services will be performed by authorized OEM technician per established standards. The performance period for this requirement is 29 November to 12 December 2010. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement will be negotiated on other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c) (1) with In-Tech Marine Services, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received on time will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is 5 November 2010. This requirement is solicited under NAICS Code 335314 with a size standard of 750. Electronic posting of the solicitation may be viewed by visiting the Contracts Section of the MSC Website. Instruction for downloading the solicitation from the MSC website is as follows: type in http://www.msc.navy.mil/ into your browser. Click on Contracts tab at the upper right hand corner of screen and click on Solicitations/Contracts. Click the radio button entitled Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFP/RFQ) - current solicitations. Click on radio button Search by RFP/RFQ or Title. Type the solicitation number in the space provided and hit search. Click on the attachments at the lower half of the page to download solicitation.
