Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) plans to issue a sole source purchase to Abbott Laboratories, 100 Abbott Park Rd., Dept. 49T, Bldg, AP6B, Abbott Park, IL 60064-6112, as the agency believes that it is the only vendor available to provide the items listed below.CDC intends to procure products by using the simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, utilizing the sole source authority under FAR 13.106-1(b). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325412. The vendor selected will provide: 1. Anti HCV #5C36-20-20 2. HAVAB #8D21-20-10 3. HAVAB-M (lgM)-5 4. Solution 4 #8A46-01-10 5. Reaction Vessels #8A75-01-6000 6. Matrix Cells #8A73-01-1000 This notice is issued for informational purposes only. All interested party sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Submit information to Priscilla Turner at pgt5@cdc.gov, Procurement Request Number 2011-91938. No solicitation will be issued. If no responses are received, award will be made to the Abbott Laboratories, 100 Abbott Park Rd., Dept. 49T, Bldg, AP6B, Abbott Park, IL 60064-6112. This procurement will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. Award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) without further notices being issued. All responses received shall be considered by the Government.
