-- SPEICAL NOTICE -- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO)website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the NavyElectronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located athttps://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, CraneDivision, Acquisition website located athttp://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting/default.aspx. FBOis the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses andsolicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECOwebpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division,Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has forty-five BasicOrdering Agreements in place to provide Basic R&D support for 14different technical discipline areas; Strategic Systems Hardware,Conventional Ammunition, Special Operations Hardware, Electronic WarfareSystems, Radar Systems, Energy and Power Systems, Acoustic Sensors,Microwave Technologies, Microelectronic Technologies, InfraredCountermeasures and Pyrotechnics, Defense Security Systems, ElectronicsDepot, Electro-Optics and Obsolescence Management. The BOAs period of performance covers the period from 17 Mar 2010 through16 Mar 2010. Ordering under the BOA is conducted on a competitive basis inaccordance with FAR 16.703(d). Contractors interested in being consideredfor a Basic R&D BOA with NSWC Crane should review a copy of the attachedoriginal solicitation N00164-09-R-JQ69 and submit a proposal in accordancewith the requirements identified therein by 2:00 p.m. on Dec 6th 2010. Nohard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. It is the responsibility ofthe offeror to submit offers electronically to the POC at NSWC Crane by thedate and time identified herein. This synopsis will fulfill the BOA's requirement to issue a synopsison an annual basis in accordance with FAR 16.703 (c)(2).
