- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit on a Sole Source basis a requirement to acquire Web of Science: Science Citation Expanded and Social Sciences Citation index Online for the Nimitz Library at the United States Naval Academy (USNA). The current system needs to be upgraded to keep up with changes in technology. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Thomson Reuters Scientific Inc. on a sole source basis for this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by the specified response date. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. The NAICS code is 541519.
